We are justifiably proud of our beautiful, sandy beaches and bays and continually strive to attain high standards of water quality, beach cleanliness, safety and good facilities. This has been recognised and acknowledged in the record number of Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards we have achieved.
Blue Flag Awards
Blue Flag is a prestigious, international award scheme, which acts as a guarantee to tourists that a beach or marina they are visiting is one of the best in the world.
It is awarded to coastal destinations, which have achieved the highest quality in water, facilities, safety, environmental education and management. For further information on Blue Flag criteria click here.

Launched in April 2007 the Quality Coast Award recognises different types of beaches throughout England that achieve the very highest standards.
